October
12th, 2008 -
After visiting Laurel Falls we drove
up to Carver's Gap to check out the fall colors. They were
not a disappointment. We made the short 0.5 mile climb up
to the summit of Round Bald in some high winds, but it was well
worth it. |

We took a lot of photos and
enjoyed the scenery before hiking back down the mountain. We really
enjoyed our hike and the day with Erick, Amy, and family.
