September 7th, 2008 -
I cut weeds and brush using the swing blade and loppers on the
Hampton Blue-blaze Trail, and all the way up to Pond Flats. I
also cleared two small blowdowns blocking the trail. I'll need
to return soon to clear a very large blowdown on the blue-blaze
trail.
I didn't take any photos...
It was so hot that struggled with the climb up Pond Mountain
especially while working with the swing blade. I just
didn't feel like pulling out the camera. I logged a total
of 5 maintenance hours.
With the dry weather this summer, the spring at Pond Flats was
also completely dry. |
